Julie Peterson, PT, DPT, WCS, BCB-PMD

Dr. Peterson is the Director of Creighton Therapy and Wellness and Creighton Pediatric Therapy. She is a Board Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist and Board Certified in Biofeedback for Pelvic Muscle Dysfunctions. She previously owned and operated Peterson Physical Therapy, PC, a physical therapy clinic specializing in women’s and men’s health, for 14 years in Omaha, Neb. She has more than 20+ years of extensive experience treating patients with pelvic pain, bowel and bladder disorders, sexual dysfunctions, and childhood bladder and bowel disorders.

Dr. Peterson graduated from Creighton University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2001 and received her B.S. in Biology from Marquette University in 1997. Dr. Peterson is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association. She is a board member for the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Dr. Peterson also serves as the Director of Physical Therapy Residency Programs for Creighton University and is a mentor in the Women’s Health Residency Program. 

Kari Bargstadt-Wilson, PT, MPT, WCS, CSCS

Women’s Health Physical Therapy Residency Coordinator, Creighton University

Ms. Bargstadt-Wilson is an instructor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Creighton University and physical therapist at Creighton Therapy and Wellness: Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1995, is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Her clinical practice spans 26 years of female and male pelvic floor dysfunctions, pregnancy, post-partum, bowel and bladder disorders and chronic pelvic pain. Ms. Bargstadt-Wilson serves as a mentor in the Women’s Health Residency Program. Ms. Bargstadt-Wilson also serves as the Lead Physical Therapists for Creighton Therapy and Wellness.

Jenna Iberle, PT, DPT, WCS

Jenna Iberle, PT, DPTPhysical Therapist

Dr. Iberle comes to Omaha from her hometown of Wadsworth, Illinois after attending Creighton University’s physical therapy program. After graduating in 2016 with her doctorate in physical therapy, she returned home to Illinois to work in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic. There she enjoyed treating a variety of patients but also attended continuing education courses on the pelvis and pelvic floor. This continuing education fostered her passion for women’s health/pelvic health physical therapy.

Jenna decided to follow her passion and pursue a specialty certification in women’s health physical therapy by becoming Creighton’s first Women’s Health Physical Therapy Resident and subsequently obtaining a position of staff physical therapist at Creighton Therapy and Wellness focusing on pelvic health. When not serving her patients, you can find Jenna attending concerts with friends, cheering on the 2016 World Champion Chicago Cubs, dog sitting, or playing volleyball as much as she can. Kimberly Rudd, PT, DPT

Women’s Health Physical Therapy Resident

Kim Rudd is a licensed physical therapist currently participating in a Women’s Health Physical Therapy Residency year at Creighton to receive advanced training in the field of women’s health and pelvic floor physical therapy. She is originally from the Northwest and graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Washington in 2020. She is passionate about the field of women’s health and pelvic floor physical therapy and eager to continue learning and pursuing her specialty certification. When she is not working or studying, Kim enjoys long distance running, spending time with her husband and dog and getting to know the Omaha area.

Michael Steinbacher, PT, DPT

Orthopedic Physical Therapy Resident

Michael is a graduate from the University of Kansas Medical Center physical therapy program and is originally from Kansas City, KS. Currently, he is an orthopedic physical therapy resident with Creighton University with the intention to gain high-level orthopedic training from expert clinicians and faculty. His enjoys treating the orthopedic patient population for the variety of diagnoses and the ability to assist people in returning to the activities they enjoy while managing pain and improving performance.


Nick Weber, PT, DPT, OCSPhysical Therapist

Dr. Weber is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and a Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Dr. Weber graduated from Regis University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2014, the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s orthopedic physical therapy residency program in 2015, and the Institute of Manipulative Physiotherapy & Clinical Training’s manual fellowship program in 2021. Dr. Weber is an assistant professor of physical therapy at Creighton University with a primary area of instruction in orthopedics, which includes evaluation and intervention, manual therapy treatment techniques for the spine and extremities, and clinical radiology.

Currently, he serves as Vice President of the American Physical Therapy Association - Nebraska Chapter, a clinical mentor within Creighton University’s orthopedic physical therapy residency program, lead orthopedic physical therapists for Creighton Therapy and Wellness, and developer of Creighton’s on-campus sports and orthopedic physical therapy clinic. In 2020, Dr. Weber received the Emerging Leader Award for leadership and advancement of the physical therapy profession awarded by the American Physical Therapy Association.

Heather Knight, PT, DPT, NCS

Neurologic Physical Therapist

Dr. Knight is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy (ABPTS) and an LSVT-BIG Certified Therapist. She has over 13 years of experience working with individuals living with neurologic conditions such as traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, Parkinson Disease, multiple sclerosis and balance dysfunctions. Dr. Knight is an Assistant Professor and Vice Chair in the Department of Physical Therapy at Creighton University where she teaches topics ranging from neuroscience to physical therapy evaluation and treatment for adult neurologic conditions. Dr. Knight also serves as the program coordinator for Creighton University Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program.

Dr. Knight graduated from Kaiser Permanente’s Neurologic Residency Program in 2010, Creighton University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in 2008, and Arizona State University in 2005 with a B.S. in Kinesiology. She is actively engaged in the Academies of Neurologic Physical Therapy (ANPT) and Physical Therapy Education (APTE) with scholarship focused on blending neurologic PT practice with best practices in teaching and learning across the continuum of PT education. She currently serves as the Chair for the ANPT Practice Committee.

Kate Kugler, PT, DPT

Neurologic Physical Therapist

Dr. Kate Kugler graduated from Creighton University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2015 and completed the Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency at Creighton University in 2016. She is a Board-Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties since 2017. Dr. Kugler practiced in the acute care setting in both Omaha, Nebraska and Colorado Springs, Colorado before accepting a faculty position as assistant professor at Creighton University in 2020. She also currently serves on the Nominating Committee of APTA Acute Care and as Secretary and Chief Delegate of the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy. Catherine Hughes-Rose

Clinic Manager

Catherine has over 12 years of office experience in the medical field. Previously, she has worked in Graduate Medical Education in both Internal Medicine-Pediatrics for 2 years and Internal Medicine Subspecialties for almost 7 years. She has enjoyed working in a variety of healthcare settings learning different aspects within the healthcare systems and from trainees’ perspectives.

She is committed to providing a caring interaction for our patients and their families. She is dedicated in providing helpful-positive and informative customer service.

Paula Kennedy

Ms. Kennedy has over 14 years of physical therapy front office experience. She is well versed in insurance, billing, and coding for therapy services.
