If you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of the individuals you serve, you belong in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions at Creighton University. We offer unparalleled opportunities in pharmacy, occupational therapy and physical therapy. Our mission goes beyond career training to include restoring health and affecting change in the lives of others.
Bringing Health Professionals Together
Through our affiliation with CHI Health, the largest health system in the region, you’ll have access to a vibrant community of healthcare professionals who are leaders in their areas and dedicated to patient care. From your professors to the School’s dean, you’ll build professional rapport with individuals who treat you like a fellow clinician.
A Commitment to Creating a Better World
Creighton University is committed to creating a better and more just world, living out the values of the Jesuit tradition of justice for all and service for others. In our community, examples of service to others include occupational therapy students providing fine motor screenings for underserved elementary school students, pharmacy students offering immunization clinics at homeless shelters and physical therapy students serving Native Americans. Our health-related service reflects men and women for and with others.
Flexible Learning in a Diverse Setting
You don’t have to be on campus to experience Creighton’s vibrant academic community. We are leaders in hybrid education and offer distance-based learning pathways in pharmacy and occupational therapy. The School of Pharmacy and Health Professions has a devoted office for distance education committed to building effective learning communities through leading edge technology. At Creighton, you will learn alongside students from all over the U.S. and around the world while also serving a diverse population of patients.
Creighton University and the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions (SPAHP) prepare students to lead in all aspects of health care, from owning a practice to serving on regional and national committees. All students are required to participate in their national organizations and encouraged to attend national meetings. Students may also participate in our leadership development program to further develop their skills.
As a SPAHP student, you will develop your cultural competence and leadership skills through interprofessional learning abroad. We offer international health programs in the Dominican Republic and China.
A Focus on Career
As a School of Pharmacy and Health Professions student, you’ll receive the skills and experience you need to succeed in your career. Seventy-five percent of our students receive one to three job offers before they graduate. And our first-time national licensure pass rates in pharmacy, OT and PT have been nearly 100 percent for many years.
