Pharmacy Match Reaches Record High for SPAHP

School of Pharmacy and Health Professions (SPAHP) students beat the national average in residency matching in the annual pharmacy match program sponsored by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).

Creighton pharmacy students matched at a rate of 63 percent while their peers across the nation matched at an average rate of 53.8 percent.  The SPAHP rate is a record high for the school. This year, 60 SPAHP pharmacy students applied for residency programs following graduation.

All pharmacy residencies in the match program are located in the United States and participate in the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS).

The matching process includes a significant evaluation process by both applicants and residency programs. To learn more about the ASHP Resident Matching Program, please visit here. The match is administered on behalf of ASHP by National Matching Services, Inc.
