Pharmacy Alumnus Receives Awards for Research

Paul Lewis, PharmD ’07Paul Lewis, PharmD ’07, was recognized with two top awards for his research in his job at Johnson City Medical Center (JCMC) Pharmacy. Mountain States Health Alliance, a not-for-profit health care organization based in Johnson City, Tenn., recognized Lewis at their 14th annual Quality Awards Banquet in Tennessee.

Lewis received Best Individual Project and Best Innovation for his research titled “Compounded Daraprim: the Solution to a Scandal.” Lewis was also involved in a remarkable 15 projects leading him to be named as one of the 15 Project Improvement Champions for 2016-17 by Mountain States Health Alliance.
