Current vice chair, Joy Doll, OTD, has been named executive director of the Center for Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research (CIPER). Doll has served as vice chair for four years.

“Dr. Doll has played an instrumental role in the refinement and growth of the occupational therapy  program,” occupational therapy chair Keli Mu, Ph.D. said, “I will definitely miss working with Joy so closely, but I am very happy and proud of her new leadership role.”

Most notable under Doll’s tenure, were the implementation of the training and management of all of the special faculty, teaching assistants and lab assistants which has now transitioned to the Office of Distance Education. She also worked closely with faculty members to ensure positive changes were made to the occupational therapy lab space.
