Dean Bradberry

To all of our alumni, I wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. It is hard to believe it is  already mid-February.

Our faculty and students have been hard at work for over a month in this spring semester. The University is preparing for its reaccreditation visit from the Higher Learning Commission in March, which is an important event for all of Creighton’s academic programs. Our new University Campus clinic opened formally Jan. 9 and many of our faculty are involved in patient care in the clinic. The clinic’s official name is CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center-University Campus.

This edition of our e-newsletter brings a variety of news from your school. Learn more about our relationship with CHI Health and team-based clinical care, honors and awards our students and faculty have garnered, and much more.

Currently we are deep into our admissions process for fall 2017 classes. Our application pools across our disciplines remain strong and the quality of our applicants are high. You can be very proud of our current and future students.

On Feb. 4, SPAHP participated in the University’s Get Blue pregame event at the downtown Hilton. Dr Charles Barr and I welcomed our alumni and students at the event, which preceded the Creighton-Xavier basketball game. We had a large alumni turnout, so thank you to all who attended and I look forward to seeing many more alumni at our next outing. Stay tuned for the date and time of the next Get Blue event. As always, please let us know how we may serve your needs. Best wishes from all of us at SPAHP.
