For admission into the Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy program at Creighton University, you must meet the following requirements:
- A bachelor’s or entry-level master’s degree* in occupational therapy at an ACOTE-accredited institution (or WFOT approved OT program for international applicants)
- Successful completion of the certification examination
- Demonstration of access to necessary technology for the web curriculum
*Students with a master’s degree receive an automatic waiver of the six required credits of electives and may apply to waive up to an additional nine credits, totaling 15 credits or 25 percent of the program. Waiver applications are considered after the student is admitted into the program.
In addition to the academic requirements for admission, students must possess skills and abilities that will allow them to successfully complete the curriculum and practice the profession of occupational therapy. View the list of the occupational therapy program’s technical standards.
