Biography

Julie A. Peterson, PT, DPT, WCS, BCB-PMD is part-time faculty in the Department of Physical Therapy at Creighton University.  Her responsbilities include the clinical education team, women's health clinical residency education, and teaching in business management and women's health curriculum. Dr. Peterson practices women's health physical therapy at Peterson Physical Therapy in Omaha, NE, where she is the president of the company. Dr. Peterson received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University in 2001.  She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Women's Health through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and Board-Certified in Biofeedback for Pelvic Muscle Dysfunctions through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance.  Dr. Peterson is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association.
