Community Engagement Attendance Policy
As a health care professional in training, participatory attendance is an important aspect of your professional competence and this course. Once you register for a community-based learning experience, your prompt attendance and appropriate participation at the community site will be expected. Should an extenuating circumstance arise (e.g., illness, family death) that prevents you from participating in the learning experience, the absence must be validated by the course Instructor of Record; an unexcused absence is considered grounds for course failure.
