New Initiative Grants

Two of the five LB692 New Initiative Grants at Creighton went to pharmacy faculty.  Drs. Tammy Burns and Jeffrey North each received $75,000 for their respective research projects.

Welcome New Students!

Welcome Week for the Doctor of Pharmacy Distance Class of 2018 begins Monday, July 28, 2014 and runs until Saturday, with Skills Lab scheduled for the group Monday, Aug. 4 through Friday, Aug. 8, 2014.

Collaboration with Kunming Medical Center

Creighton University signed a memorandum of understanding with Kunming Medical University in Yunnan Province, China. This agreement provided guidelines for future travel experiences for students and faculty between the two universities.



Shanghai to Omaha

Visiting OT and PT students from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine are on the Creighton campus May 19 - Aug. 16, 2014, with their faculty member, participating in intensive therapy coursework and clinical observation.

Dr. Michele Faulkner is scheduled to speak again at the 3rd Annual Neurology for Primary Care

Dr. Philip Gregory has accepted the new role of associate director for the Creighton Center of Drug Information and Evidence-Based Practice.

Dr. Somnath Singh accepted the appointment as director of the M.S. Pharmaceutical Sciences program, effective July 1, 2014.

Dr. Kim Begley was elected as the AACP's Laboratory Instructor's Special Interest Group chair-elect for the 2014-15 academic year.
