Finalist in NBME Competion

A CU team of interprofessional faculty, led by Dr. Joy Doll that includes Drs. Kimberley Begley, Katie Packard and Ann Ryan Haddad, has advanced as a finalist in the National Board of Medical Examiner (NBME)’s Centennial Prize Competition.

New OTD Alaska Cohort

Dean Bradberry joined the newest cohort of Creighton OTD students, the OTD Class of 2017, on the University of Alaska-Anchorage campus Aug. 13 for their Professionalism Ceremony.  Similar ceremonies were held Aug. 1 and Aug. 22 for the distance pharmacy and campus first year students.

Welcome to Fall'14 Term

SPAHP fall classes are in full swing.  P2 & P3 classes began Wednesday, Aug. 20; OT2 and all first year (campus DPT, OTD, Pharm.D. and GOOT) classes begin Monday, Aug. 25; PT3 students begin Sept. 2.

Service with a Smile

Under the coordination of OASA and Welcome Week ambassadors, incoming SPAHP students spent the afternoon of Tuesday, Aug. 19 in service to the Omaha Community.  The Stuff-a-Truck drive for Heartland Hope was one of many projects in which the 250+ students participated.

New Water Refill Stations

Water bottle refill stations have been installed outside of G04 in the HLSB and outside of Sara’s place in Boyne.

Creighton OT alumnae Kylie Widhelm presented "Occupational Therapy in Acute Care," a CE offering of the NOTA sponsored by Kohll's Pharmacy and Homecare.

Dr. René Padilla has been appointed interim director of Creighton International Programs while continuing to serve as SPAHP's associate dean for academic and student affairs.

Dr. Kirk Peck was quoted by the Observer Reporter in an Aug. 18, 2014 article about more vets prescribing physical therapy.

OTD student Kendra Solka was selected to receive an E.K. Wise Scholarship from AOTA.
